OUR HISTORY

The origins of the company are in Berkhout. On April 6, 1946 Cor Slijkerman planted the first seeds of onions, beets and cauliflower. His successor and son Johan Slijkerman made the switch from vegetables to pot chrysanthemums and Kalanchoe. The origin of all our Kalanchoe varieties lies with Johan Slijkerman. Stefan Slijkerman is the 3rd generation. With his passion for automation and globalization, the family business, now more than 75 years later, has grown into an international Kalanchoe producer and we continue to innovate and specialize in the breeding and propagation of Kalanchoe worldwide. With the goal of coloring the world with ever more beautiful and special Kalanchoe.
