SlijkermanKalanchoe is a modern, automated pot plant nursery located in Heerhugowaard. We produce flowering Kalanchoe 's under 50,000m2 of glass.
As an innovative breeder and grower, we produce a wide range of Kalanchoe in various house styles, each with its own characteristics.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial employee (ft)
Do you have experience in floriculture and are you looking for a new challenge?
In this varied position (60% inside sales and 40% outside sales) you are responsible for the sale of our products by maintaining existing relationships and actively approaching potential customers. Our customers are diverse, ranging from garden centers , wholesale to supermarket chains. You visit our (potential) customers on a regular basis. You give customer advice on our product range and prepare quotations. Your duties also include taking and processing incoming orders/customer requests via email, web shop and telephone. You distribute the incoming orders to the various departments and prepare the products for transport.
Decorum is the premium brand for plants and flowers. We sell our most beautiful plants under the Decorum label. In addition to your daily work, you will attend (international) trade fairs every year, have various sales meetings and participate in market visits within Europe organized by Decorum.
We ask:
Communication skills and customer-oriented;
Stress resistant;
MBO/ HBO working and thinking level;
Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
Sense of responsibility;
Experience in Greenhouse horticulture;
